Our project teams received great recognition at the 2016 Vancouver Regional Construction Association Awards of Excellence which took place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. While celebrating the accomplishments of the BC construction industry, we won three times throughout the evening.
The first award was in the category of Outstanding Achievement for Safety by a Trade Contractor, achieving a superior safety record over 200,000 or more person-hours.
This was followed by a second award in the category of Innovation and Productivity for the Connected Snow Removal Camera Solution applied at Global Roadway Maintenance in Kelowna, BC.
The third award of the night was the Gold Award of Excellence for Electrical Contractors up to $2 Million, presented to the project team in Prince George for the Northern Rockies Regional Recreational Centre located in Fort Nelson. A finalist among two other electrical contractors, FHM Installations and Status Electric in the category, with all three becoming Silver Winners back in August but with Houle claiming the grand honour of being the Gold winner.
Congratulations to the amazing teams at Houle that contributed their hard work, innovation and drive for excellence that earned these awards and this special recognition from our business community!
