Project info
Referred to locally as “The Nat,” the Nat Bailey Stadium has been home to baseball fans in Vancouver since 1951. Thousands of viewers attend games at the stadium each year for the local Vancouver Canadians team, playing in the short- season Single-A league.
Being a legacy venue, the stadium was in need of a lighting upgrade. The decision was made to install high-powered LED, field-of-play lighting to reduce light pollution and to provide brighter, flicker-free light for improved game and broadcast performance.
For this project, we provided the electrical installation and testing of new high-mast, field-of-play LED stadium lighting. This included the replacement of light fixtures on seven out of eight existing light towers, a new light tower, six additional lights on the roof of the building, and an LED driver enclosure. Working next to an operational indoor sports complex, our team was able to safely coordinate all major equipment lifts to minimize disruption to the public.
