Project info
Looking to modernize, Fraser Regional Correctional Centre (FRCC) in Maple Ridge commissioned our team to install EV charging stations at their facility–which was built in 1990.
As the general contractor, we collaborated with several sub-trades (civil, coring, etc.) and coordinated the required permits and security clearances to break ground at the facility. We also assisted in the electric vehicle (EV) charging station design alterations based on usage site condition requirements before the project began.
To complete the installation, our team: verified capacity in distribution (using existing metering) for three new load-sharing FLO Core+ EV charging units; routed three new 2P40A circuits via new underground conduit; installed two underground concrete vaults; routed and installed a lighting circuit to new lighting bollards; routed conduit and installed FLO network gateway; and verified the lighting control integration (with existing controls) and commissioned six charging heads with FRCC and FLO.
