Jean Up
As a long-time supporter of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s annual Jean Up campaign, we rock our denim to fundraise and raise awareness for their mission to conquer childhood illnesses and help BC kids have the childhoods they deserve.
Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau
Every year we collect employee donations and provide company matching to support the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau in their mission, to empower families in need to create Christmas experiences for their kids through the generosity of community.
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank
We support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank through our annual food drives and giving campaigns and support their efforts to help provide healthy food to over 20,000 people in need in our community.

Third Quadrant Design
As Construction Partners on the student-led Third Space Commons project at UBC, we’re proud to support the next generation of construction leaders as they learn and develop sustainable building practices that will continue to advance our communities for the future.
Children’s Sports Teams
From hockey, soccer, and rugby to gymnastics and other athletic outlets, we’re proud to sponsor local children’s sports teams across BC, which provide environments where kids can stay active and develop skills in perseverance, social development, and teamwork.
Champion of the Crescent
Our team loves getting out on the water for the Champion of the Crescent stand-up paddleboard relay race. Hosted by the Surrey Hospitals Foundation, this annual charity event helps raise money and awareness for youth mental health and related support programs.
INDIGENOUS Engagement
WATT Program
As a collaboration between Western JETS, IBEW Locals, and the Construction Foundation of BC, the Workplace Alternative Training (WATT) Program aims to increase accessibility to electrical apprenticeships for Indigenous people, youth and other underrepresented groups. Houle is proud to partner with WATT as an electrical contractor, helping to mentor and train the next generation of tradespeople.
First Nations Capacity Fund
To help promote and advance the training, employment, and education of Indigenous peoples, we are a contributing member of The Reach Group’s First Nations Capacity Fund. This fund also helps build and strengthen in-community economic development resources for Indigenous communities.
Musqueam Legacy Project
In support of reconciliation initiatives, we’re proud to be a Gold Sponsor for the Magee Secondary School Musqueam Legacy Project. Commissioned by the school’s graduating class, this project included a spindle whorl carving by Indigenous artists and a documentary film on Musqueam culture, to be displayed on campus.
